France heatwave outage widens in Brittany as temperatures set to peak
About 67,000 homes in Brittany were without power on Tuesday evening as France faced the peak of a record-breaking heatwave, according to authorities. Electricity was not expected to be fully restored until Wednesday night at the earliest, while temperatures were forecast to reach 43C in parts of the southwest.
