Pakistan PTI launches mass rally toward Islamabad after talks fail
Supporters of jailed former prime minister Imran Khan have begun a protest march from northwest Pakistan toward Islamabad after talks with the government failed. The rally was launched on Sunday and is being organised by Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party. More than 5,000 people were reported to have joined the march as it set off from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.The march had originally been planned for September 27 but was postponed until October 4 to allow negotiations between the government and PTI leadership.
