Malaysia pauses Rohingya repatriation plan amid safety concerns
Malaysia has said it will not return 5,000 Rohingya refugees to Myanmar if their lives would be at risk, as the government continues to review a repatriation plan announced last week. Government spokesman Fahmi Fadzil said on Wednesday that the foreign and home ministries were still assessing the proposal before any decision is made.
