Irish Cabinet to consider first-ever research security guidelines to protect universities from espionage
Ireland's Cabinet is due to discuss new proposals aimed at protecting universities and other educational institutions from espionage and foreign interference. Minister for Further and Higher Education James Lawless is seeking government approval for what would be the country's first National Research Security Guidelines.
