Fortescue Metals Group faces national sex discrimination class action in Federal Court
A landmark class action has been filed in the Federal Court in Melbourne against mining company Fortescue Metals Group over allegations of sexual harassment and sex discrimination at its remote Pilbara camps. The case alleges a pattern of misconduct affecting women workers, including claims of rape, sexual assault, stalking and inappropriate workplace behaviour.
