Egypt detains six Matsadaash journalists as one faces terrorism charge
Egyptian authorities have detained six journalists from the independent fact-checking and investigative outlet Matsadaash, with one of them now facing charges of joining a terrorist group and spreading false news. The detentions took place over two days last week, according to the supporting material, and the whereabouts of the other five journalists remain unknown.
