India designates 23 JeM and LeT operatives as terrorists over Jammu and Kashmir attack links
India has designated 23 Pakistan-based operatives linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba as terrorists, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The move cites alleged involvement in recruitment, infiltration, training, drone-based arms supply and planning attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. The notification also connects some of the named individuals to earlier attacks on security forces in Nagrota and Sunjwan.Among those named are three people described as close associates of Lashkar-e-Taiba founder Hafiz Muhammad Saeed: Abdul Rauf, Hafiz Khalid Waleed and Rana Iftikhar.
