US unseals complaint charging Turkish resident in Hamas support case
The United States has unsealed a three-count complaint charging MOHAMMAD YOUSEF HASNA, also known as Orhan Korkmaz and Abu al-Baraa, with conspiring to provide material support to Hamas. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Jamie McDonald, alongside senior Justice Department and FBI officials. According to the announcement, Hasna is a Turkish resident. The complaint also includes related terrorism financing charges. Officials identified Hamas as a U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organization.
