At least 13 people have been killed after a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck Japan's Kumamoto prefecture late on Tuesday, with rescue teams still searching for dozens believed trapped in a shopping mall in Kumamoto city. The quake caused severe shaking across the region, including in Yatsushiro, where residents described buildings lurching and shelves collapsing.
