Murder investigation opened after fatal stabbing of 21-year-old in Primrose Hill

On 7 April 2026 at 18:41hrs, London police were called to a disturbance involving a fight at the Primrose Hill viewpoint. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service, attended the scene and found a 21-year-old male with stab wounds. Despite paramedic efforts, he was declared dead at the scene. Shortly afterwards, police found another male, reportedly in his 20s, with stab wounds on Regentβs Park Road near the initial incident. He was transported to hospital, where his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening and not life-changing. No arrests have been made to date, and a crime scene remains active at the location. Superintendent Matt Cox confirmed the murder investigation is underway and reassured the public that police have increased their presence in the area as inquiries continue.
