Met Police Seek Key Witness in Primrose Hill Murder Investigation

On 9 April 2026, the Metropolitan Police issued an appeal for a key witness following the murder of 21-year-old Finbar Sullivan in Primrose Hill, London. Officers responded to reports of a fight at the viewpoint in Primrose Hill at 18:41hrs. Upon arrival, emergency services found Finbar with stab wounds; despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. A second male, also in his 20s, was found nearby on Regent's Park Road with stab injuries assessed as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing. The police are specifically seeking a young woman or teenager seen on video recording a fight shortly before the incident. The footage, which shows her wearing a pink vest, blue denim shorts, and black trainers, is considered vital to establishing the sequence of events leading to the stabbing. She is not suspected of any offense and is being treated as a significant witness. Detective Inspector Andy Griffin, leading the investigation, emphasized that no arrests have been made and the inquiry remains active. Authorities urge the woman or anyone with information to contact the police or use the major incident portal, quoting reference CAD 6448/07Apr, or report anonymously via Crimestoppers.
