Five Illegal Aliens Sentenced for Re-Entering the U.S. Without Authorization
Five aliens were sentenced for unlawfully re-entering the United States following previous deportations. Upon completion of their criminal sentences, these individuals will be subject to detainers issued by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Subsequently, they will be placed in administrative immigration custody pending removal proceedings. These prosecutions are part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative led by the U.S.
The operation aims to fully mobilize federal resources to combat illegal immigration, dismantle cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protect communities from violent criminals. Operation Take Back America represents a coordinated federal effort to enforce immigration laws strictly and reduce threats posed by organized criminal networks and repeated illegal border crossings.
The sentencing of these five aliens demonstrates ongoing enforcement actions under this initiative to address unauthorized re-entry violations.
