Hezbollah says it struck Israeli forces and Merkava tanks in southern Lebanon

Hezbollah said in a series of statements that fighters from the "Islamic Resistance" carried out multiple attacks targeting Israeli forces and military vehicles in southern Lebanon. According to the statements, Hezbollah said it targeted two Merkava tanks in the eastern neighborhood of Zawtar al-Sharqiya with guided missiles and claimed direct hits.

It also said it struck gatherings of Israeli army forces near Adaisseh with volleys of advanced rockets, claiming confirmed casualties. The group said it hit Israeli troop concentrations near al-Khazzan hill in Zawtar al-Sharqiya with additional volleys of advanced rockets, and separately targeted a gathering of Israeli military vehicles and soldiers in Zawtar al-Sharqiya with a rocket barrage.
