India and Venezuela discuss long-term energy partnership in New Delhi

India and Venezuela have held talks in New Delhi on forging an energy partnership and entering into long-term contracts, in a fresh development in their bilateral relationship. The discussions took place during a visit by Delcy Rodriguez, Venezuela's acting president, who is in India for her first trip since taking office. Indian officials said the talks also covered wider cooperation in critical minerals, technology, agriculture and health.
