EU weighs 80 new sanctions designations against Russia

The European Union is considering a new sanctions package that would add 80 more Russian entities and individuals to its restrictions list. EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said the proposed designations would target Russia's military-industrial complex, human rights violators and propagandists. She made the comments in Cyprus after an informal meeting of EU defence ministers.
