DR Congo Ebola outbreak death toll rises to 101 as access is hindered in conflict zones

The Democratic Republic of the Congo has reported that its Ebola outbreak has risen to 101 confirmed deaths, after 35 new confirmed cases were recorded in the previous 24 hours. The latest government situation report says the total number of confirmed cases has reached 550. The outbreak is concentrated in the eastern provinces of Ituri, North Kivu and South Kivu, where armed conflict has complicated the response.
