Sheikh Abdulaziz launches Huwiyyah Tubna to promote Ajman architectural identity

Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Land and Real Estate Regulation Department, has launched the Huwiyyah Tubna, or An Identity Being Built, initiative in Ajman. The programme is aimed at preserving and highlighting Ajman's cultural heritage by integrating traditional cultural elements into real estate development projects.

Sheikh Abdulaziz said the initiative is intended to protect the historic architectural legacy of Ajman and to blend modernity with heritage through creative designs that reflect the stages of the emirate's architectural evolution. He linked the project to the urban renaissance taking place in Ajman and said it is meant to reinforce the elements of Emirati national identity.

He said the architectural heritage legacy represents the authenticity of the past and the ambition of the future. He also said the initiative aligns with Ajman Vision 2030, which treats preservation of Emirati national identity as a fundamental pillar in building the emirate's future and keeping coming generations connected to their heritage and community values.

He added that Ajman needs a competitive real estate market that improves quality of life in residential projects and consolidates the emirate's standing as a modern city.
