Salvadoran National Pleads Guilty in Oklahoma to Unlawful Reentry
The United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that OSNI AYALA AVELAR, also identified by multiple aliases including Hosni Hernandez and Osni Ayala, pleaded guilty in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to one count of Unlawful Reentry of Removed Alien. He is 35 and was described as a Salvadoran national unlawfully present in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma.

The offense carries a maximum penalty of two years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.00, according to the announcement. The case was filed in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
The indictment alleged that on June 12, 2026, Avelar was found in the United States without the express consent of the Secretary of Homeland Security to reapply for admission. The charging material said he had previously been removed on July 26, 2017, January 28, 2011, and May 26, 2009.
