According to the Justice Department, Haji Zada conceded that she is an alien terrorist. The department said she was the matriarch in her family and supported a plot to carry out an ISIS-inspired mass shooting on Election Day in 2024.
The department said her son, Abdullah Haji Zada, and son-in-law, Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, had previously been arrested and convicted in connection with the plot. No further details were provided in the source about the removal process or any additional court action.
