Eurogroup President Kyriakos Pierrakakis to visit Ireland and chair meeting in Dublin

Kyriakos Pierrakakis, President of the Eurogroup, will visit Ireland from 17 to 19 September and chair the Eurogroup meeting on Friday 18 September. The visit is tied to Ireland holding the Presidency of the Council of the EU, with the text saying it is a pleasure to hold the Eurogroup in the country of the Presidency.

During the trip, Pierrakakis will meet Taoiseach Micheál Martin for a bilateral discussion. He will also join Tánaiste and Finance Minister Simon Harris at a public event, and is scheduled to give a speech on banking reform at the Eurofi Financial Forum.
