NDB review says cyber unit issues are largely clarified and recommendations implemented
An administrative review by an independent law firm says the incidents in the cyber division of Switzerland's Federal Intelligence Service, the NDB, have been sufficiently clarified. The review concludes that recommendations from earlier reports have been basically implemented.

The report says the next step is to complete the transformation of the NDB and allow a stable organizational and management structure to take effect. It states that there are no indications of data deletions on a large scale.
The review says some uncertainty remains over the possible systematic sharing of network data, which cannot be ruled out. Those concerns were already reported to the Federal Prosecutor's Office in 2025.
Beyond that, the report says there are no substantiated indications of prohibited political intelligence activity.
