Israeli artillery and airstrikes hit multiple towns in southern Lebanon

Israeli artillery shelling struck the outskirts of Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, with machine-gun fire also directed toward the town, according to the National News Agency correspondent. The same report said Israeli artillery shelling also hit Kounin.

A massive explosion was reported in Ainatha in the Bint Jbeil district. The report further said enemy warplanes launched an airstrike on the outskirts of Baraashit, also in Bint Jbeil district.

In Marjeyoun district, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on Deir Seryan. In Nabatieh district, Israeli aircraft struck Nabatieh al-Fawqa, but the missile did not explode.
