It brought together Dr Noora Alshamsi, an artificial intelligence expert, Khaled Diab, a legal researcher at the Ministry of Justice, Basma Obaid Alkamali, chairman of the Youth Council at the Ministry of Justice, and Saif Al Muttawa, a public prosecutor at the Dubai Public Prosecution's Narcotics Prosecution. Saif Almansoori, chairman of the Abu Dhabi Youth Council, moderated.

Dr Noora Alshamsi said artificial intelligence has changed digital crime by increasing its speed, scale and ability to influence individuals. She said AI systems can replicate voices and generate convincing images and videos within seconds, and argued that young people should be helped to understand AI technologies, identify misleading content, anticipate threats and develop innovative responses.

Khaled Diab cited fraud schemes that use deceptive messages or voice-cloning technology to request financial transfers by impersonating trusted individuals. Basma Obaid Alkamali said young people can help simplify procedures, improve services and enhance operational efficiency, while stressing that innovation must remain grounded in legal and human-centred principles.
