In a note released on the morning of the 31st, the city said the flames were controlled during the early hours, but that some areas still require attention and monitoring. The administration said the response remains active at the location.
The Municipal Environment Department is also involved in the operation, carrying out environmental inspection and collecting information on the area affected. The teams are using a drone to conduct an aerial survey of the region, with the aim of measuring the extent of the fire more precisely, identifying possible environmental damage and gathering material that could help clarify how the fire started, including whether criminal action was involved.
The causes of the fire remain under investigation by the competent authorities.
