Authorities involved in the week included police, border guards, labour and social security inspectorates, and tax authorities. The action targeted exploitative practices linked to labour exploitation rather than a single location or case.
Officials said the week resulted in 27 arrests and the identification of 248 potential victims. The sectors named in the operation were agriculture, construction, cosmetic services, massage parlours and hospitality, which were described as high-risk areas for exploitation.
