Florida Man Pleads Guilty to Distributing Violent Animal Torture Videos

Francisco Javier Ravelo, a U.S. citizen from Florida, admitted in federal court on March 2 to distributing videos depicting the torture and sexual abuse of monkeys. The illegal content included more than 40 videos shared with others through online chat groups Ravelo managed.
His case was uncovered by Homeland Security Investigations, which tracked and collected evidence against him. Ravelo now faces a potential prison sentence of up to seven years for his crimes.
