UAE Intercepts 7 Ballistic Missiles and 15 Drones Launched from Iran

The United Arab Emirates' Ministry of Defense confirmed that its air defense systems intercepted seven ballistic missiles and 15 drones launched by Iran targeting the country. This recent attack is part of a series of Iranian strikes, with UAE air defenses engaging a total of 334 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,714 drones so far.

These hostile actions have caused casualties, including the deaths of two UAE armed forces personnel and six civilians, with 158 people injured of varying severity. The attacks have also impacted multiple nationalities residing in the UAE.

The UAE remains highly vigilant and prepared to respond decisively to any further threats while focusing on safeguarding its national security and regional stability. The escalation underscores rising tensions in the Gulf region, with Iran continuing to use missile and drone attacks that jeopardize neighboring countries’ security.

This sustained barrage from Iran raises the stakes for Gulf states and could prompt a wider military or diplomatic escalation if the attacks continue or intensify.
