Egyptian exports to China jump 200% to $840.8 million in first half of 2026

Egyptian exports to China rose by approximately 200% year-on-year to $840.8 million in the first six months of 2026, according to data from Egypt's Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS). The figure compares with $280.5 million in the same period in 2025. CAPMAS said Egypt's imports from China increased by 14.3% to $10.4 billion in the first half of the year. Total bilateral trade reached $11.3 billion in the period, up 21.5% from $9.3 billion a year earlier.
