A 47-year-old man has appeared in court charged over an attempted car bomb attack on Lurgan PSNI station in Northern Ireland.The case is now before Craigavon Magistrates Court.Barry Anthony Toman, of Drumnamoe Avenue in Lurgan, appeared by videolink.He is charged with attempted murder, attempting to cause an explosion, hijacking by compelling a person to drive a car carrying an improvised explosive device, and possession of explosives with intent to endanger life.The court heard that a pizza delivery driver was hijacked in Kilwilkie and forced to drive a pipe bomb to the station on the night of 30 March.Dissident republicans had...
