Man extradited from UAE charged with 2024 Westminster murder
Enzo Bettamio, 18, has been extradited from the United Arab Emirates to the United Kingdom and formally charged with the murder of Kamonnan Thiamphanit, who was fatally stabbed in Westminster in 2024.The Metropolitan Police confirmed that Bettamio was flown from Dubai to the UK on Friday and is expected to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Saturday.Kamonnan Thiamphanit, also known as Angela, was 27 at the time of the stabbing and held dual Chinese-Hong Kong and Thai nationality.She was found with multiple stab wounds at her home in Westminster on 8 April 2024 and was pronounced dead at the scene.The...
