The European Union has condemned the 29 May 2026 incident in which a Russian drone carrying explosives crashed into a residential building in Galați, Romania. The statement said the drone was part of an overnight attack against Ukraine. The EU described the crash as a grave incident and a reckless violation of the EU's airspace.
