UAE details trade-route response to Iran war disruption at GLOBSEC Forum
Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi addressed the GLOBSEC Forum 2026 in Prague on the impact of the Iran war on global trade routes. He said the UAE has responded by activating alternative trade corridors and by presenting itself as a stable and resilient trade hub. Al Zeyoudi said the measures already in place include the use of the UAE's eastern ports of Fujairah and Khorfakkan, air freight bridges for time-critical pharmaceutical and food cargo, a Green Corridor with Oman, and a new Sharjah-Dammam trade bridge.
