The U.S. Department of Justice announced the approval of 649 settlement offers amounting to $175 million in just the past three weeks, compensating victims exposed to toxic water at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. These payments are part of the wider implementation of the Camp Lejeune Justice Act, enacted under the Honoring our PACT Act of 2022.
