Italy, Cyprus, Greece and Malta adopt joint migration statement ahead of Rome meeting
Italy, Cyprus, Greece and Malta adopted a joint press statement on migration issues in relation to the security situation in the Middle East. The statement was issued on the occasion of the Europe Gulf Forum and followed the meeting in Ayia Napa, Cyprus. The four countries said they are pursuing joint initiatives aimed at preventing the current situation in the Middle East from leading to a migration crisis similar to the one experienced in 2015.
