A federal jury in Pensacola, Florida convicted Jovon "Playa Pat" Booker, 33, of two firearm charges tied to drug trafficking. The counts were discharging a handgun in relation to a drug trafficking crime and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Before the jury was selected, Booker pleaded guilty in the same federal case to one count of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance.
