Smoke from forest and peatland fires in Indonesia has pushed air quality in parts of Malaysian Borneo to hazardous levels, with the worst conditions reported in Sarawak. The haze has also spread beyond the island, reaching peninsular Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore.
