A man hailed as a hero for disarming one of the Bondi Beach shooters has had assault charges against him dropped by police in Sydney. Ahmed al Ahmed appeared outside a local court on Wednesday after prosecutors withdrew domestic violence common assault, stalking and intimidation charges linked to an alleged incident with his father in March.
