George North, the Wales rugby star, has announced he will retire from professional rugby at the end of the current season.North, who turned 34 earlier this month, ended his international career in 2024 after earning 121 caps and scoring 47 tries for Wales.He played a key role in Wales winning four Six Nations titles and two Grand Slams.North also represented the British and Irish Lions on tours in 2013 and 2017, playing three Tests and scoring two tries.His club career included stints with Scarlets, Northampton Saints, Ospreys, and most recently French second-tier side Provence.He has spent the past two seasons...
