China says H1 water conservancy investment tops US$75.8 billion
China said spending on water conservancy construction reached 515.1 billion yuan, or about US$75.82 billion, in the first half of 2026. The figures were released by the Ministry of Water Resources in Beijing on Friday and reported by Xinhua News Agency. The ministry said 25 major water conservancy projects were newly launched during the January-June period.
