China says H1 water conservancy investment tops US$75.8 billion

China said spending on water conservancy construction reached 515.1 billion yuan, or about US$75.82 billion, in the first half of 2026. The figures were released by the Ministry of Water Resources in Beijing on Friday and reported by Xinhua News Agency.
