Switzerland hosts OSCE conference in Zug on de-escalation after cyber incidents
Switzerland convened a high-level OSCE conference in Zug on 29 September 2026 to discuss how to prevent escalation after cyber incidents. The meeting brought together senior representatives from politics, diplomacy and cybersecurity under Switzerland's chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. Bundesrat Ignazio Cassis, who is chairing the OSCE and heads the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, highlighted the role of dialogue in reducing the risk of escalation.
