India announces major military leadership reshuffle across Army and Air Force
India has announced a series of senior military leadership changes, with new appointments across the Army and Air Force taking effect on Wednesday. General Dhiraj Seth took over as the 31st Chief of Army Staff, while Lt Gen Sandeep Jain became the Army's Vice-Chief. Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit was appointed Vice-Chief of the Air Staff, and Air Marshal Tejinder Singh took charge as the new Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman, Chiefs of Staff Committee.The changes affect some of the country's most senior defence posts and were made as part of a wider reshuffle in the armed forces....
