Crayola recalls craft boxes over asbestos contamination fears in UK
Two Crayola craft boxes sold in the United Kingdom have been recalled due to concerns that the sand included in the kits may be contaminated with asbestos.The affected products are the Crayola Touchy Feely Craft Box and the Crayola Discovery Craft Box.The recall covers items sold between March 2025 and April 2026 by major retailers including Argos, Asda, Sainsbury's, and The Works.The importer Hunter Price International Limited is also involved in the recall.The Office for Product Safety and Standards has warned that the sand in these kits may contain trace amounts of asbestos, posing a health risk, particularly to children.Consumers...
