German police raid neo-Nazi youth networks across 12 states
German police have raided around 50 homes and other locations in a nationwide operation targeting suspected members of far-right youth groups.Prosecutors said the raids were aimed at people believed to be linked to Jung & Stark, known as JS, and Deutsche Jugend Voran, or DJV.The searches took place on Wednesday in 12 states, mainly in the east and south of Germany, including Bavaria, Berlin, Brandenburg and Saxony.Federal prosecutors said the suspects were believed to have organised violence through social media and built nationwide networks.No arrests were made.Prosecutors said some of those accused were suspected of attacking members of the left-wing... Police conclude search at religious group headquarters in Cheshire after arrests
Police in Cheshire have concluded searches at the headquarters of the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light in Crewe and say the building has been released to residents.Cheshire Police said it was first made aware in March of allegations of serious sexual offences, forced marriage and modern slavery involving a member of the group.The force said the reported offences are understood to have taken place in 2023 and involved one female victim.Officers raided three properties in Crewe on Wednesday, including Webb House, and arrested seven men and three women.All 10 have since been released on conditional bail, which prevents their...
