Woman in her 70s dies after dog attack in Wolverhampton

A woman in her 70s died after being attacked by two dogs at a house in Wolverhampton.
Emergency crews were called to Willis Pearson Avenue in the Bilston area at about 23:30 BST on Wednesday following reports of the incident.
West Midlands Police confirmed the woman died at the scene.
The two dogs involved were not believed to be banned breeds but were destroyed after continuing to show aggression towards emergency services.
A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control and causing injury resulting in death.
He was treated for hand injuries and taken to hospital.
West Midlands Ambulance Service dispatched two ambulances and paramedics to the private address.
Despite treatment efforts, the woman died at the scene.
The man was assessed at New Cross Hospital for non-serious injuries.
