Fourth man charged in Sydney grandfather's kidnapping and murder

A 19-year-old man has been charged as the fourth suspect in the kidnapping and murder of 85-year-old Chris Baghsarian in Sydney.
The arrest was made on Tuesday morning at Mount Druitt Police Station, and the man was refused bail ahead of a court appearance.
Chris Baghsarian was abducted from his North Ryde home on February 13 in what police have described as a case of mistaken identity.
His remains were found on February 24 near a golf course in Pitt Town after an 11-day search.
The man faces charges of murder and taking or detaining in company with intent to ransom occasioning actual bodily harm.
He is due to appear before Mount Druitt Local Court.
Police believe the kidnappers intended to target a relative of Sydney businessman Dimitri Stepanyan, who lived nearby, but mistakenly took Baghsarian instead.
Three other individuals have already been charged in connection with the case.
The new charge marks a significant development in the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding this high-profile crime.
The abduction and murder of Baghsarian have drawn considerable attention due to the victim's age and the circumstances of mistaken identity.
The case highlights issues related to violent crime in the Sydney area.
Authorities have not disclosed further details about the investigation or the identities of the other suspects charged.
