UK Prime Minister Warns of Growing Concern Over Proxy Attacks Amid Jewish Community Arson

The UK Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, has expressed concern over the increasing use of proxy attacks by hostile states following a series of arson attacks targeting the Jewish community.
These attacks have included petrol bombings at synagogues and assaults on Jewish community ambulances.
Sir Keir made these remarks during a visit to Kenton United Synagogue in north-west London, which itself was targeted with a petrol bomb on the previous Saturday.
The attacks have been ongoing since late March and have affected multiple Jewish community sites across the UK.
An Islamist group suspected of having links to Iran, Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamia, claimed responsibility for an attack on Jewish community ambulances in north London, as well as other incidents in the UK and Europe.
The Prime Minister met with Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis and other community members during his visit.
Jewish community leaders have voiced frustration with the government's response, urging stronger action including the proscription of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Synagogues have reported significant expenditure on security, with some spending up to £20,000 monthly on security guards.
Sir Keir emphasized the importance of addressing malign state actors using proxies to carry out attacks within the UK.
