Knife attack in Golders Green, London injures two

Two people were stabbed in Golders Green, a neighbourhood in north-west London, on Wednesday.
The suspect was detained by members of the Jewish volunteer group Shomrim before being arrested by police using a stun gun.
The victims were treated at the scene by Hatzola, a Jewish volunteer ambulance service.
The suspect was seen running along Golders Green Road armed with a knife and attempting to stab Jewish members of the public.
Shomrim intervened quickly to detain him until police arrived and used a taser to arrest him.
Both victims received medical attention from emergency services at the scene.
The Community Security Trust, a Jewish charity, confirmed the arrest and thanked Shomrim, Hatzola, and the Metropolitan Police for their swift response.
This incident comes amid a recent spate of attacks targeting the Jewish community in north London, including attempted arson attacks on synagogues and other Jewish sites.
The Board of Deputies of British Jews stated they are liaising with the police, government, and community organisations to understand the situation and ensure a strong response.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer described the stabbing as "deeply concerning" during a session in the House of Commons.
He emphasised the importance of supporting the ongoing police investigation and addressing such offences decisively.
Over the past month, London police have arrested more than two dozen individuals in connection with attacks on Jewish-linked premises, including torching ambulances and attempted arson.
