Mexican national sentenced in Oklahoma for unlawful reentry

The United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma said Concepcion Soto-Rivera, also known as Conception Soto-Rivera, was sentenced to time served in Muskogee, Oklahoma, for one count of unlawful reentry of a removed alien. The defendant is 41 and described in the filing as a Mexican national unlawfully present in McIntosh County, Oklahoma.

According to investigators, Soto-Rivera was found in the United States on March 17, 2026, without obtaining the express consent of the Secretary of Homeland Security to reapply for admission. Prosecutors said the case followed a prior removal record that included October 30, 2016, October 18, 2014, and multiple removals in 2008.

The earlier removals listed in the case were dated August 13, 2008, June 23, 2008, May 21, 2008, May 17, 2008, and May 13, 2008. Soto-Rivera pleaded guilty to the charge on May 12, 2026, before receiving the time-served sentence in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
