Breaking News: Regional Escalation Following Strikes on Iran

BEIT SHEMESH & CENTRAL ISRAEL β A massive wave of Iranian retaliatory missile strikes has struck central Israel, leaving at least nine people dead and dozens more injured. In the city of Beit Shemesh, located west of Jerusalem, emergency services report that at least 27 people were wounded after a ballistic missile impacted a residential area.
Rescuers are continuing to search for survivors amid heavily damaged apartment buildings and public shelters. GULF REGIONAL IMPACT β The conflict has rapidly widened to include neighboring Gulf states hosting U.S. military assets.
Qatarβs Ministry of Defense confirmed it detected 65 ballistic missiles and 12 drones launched from Iran. While Qatari air defenses successfully intercepted 63 missiles, two projectiles managed to strike the Al Udeid Air Base.
Simultaneously, a fire broke out at Dubai's Jebel Ali Port following an Iranian strike, and minor damage was reported at Dubai International Airport as regional airspace remains heavily disrupted. GLOBAL UNREST β The strikes follow the reported assassination of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in joint U.S.-Israeli operations.
This has sparked violent protests across the region, including in Karachi, Pakistan, where at least nine people were killed during a demonstration outside the U.S. consulate. Iran has since formed an interim leadership council and warned that any further aggression will be met with "devastating blows". #BreakingNews
